Celebrate Hanukkah with Camp Chi!

By Camp Chi
Events

While we would love to spend all year with the Camp Chi Family, we cannot. With that in mind, we cherish the times when we can spend time together with the Camp Chi Family! Whether it’s at the upcoming Winter Camp, or New Year’s Adult & Camp, we’re so excited to reconnect with everyone soon. There’s another special celebration where the Camp Chi Family will be gathering, and we wanted to make sure everyone got the invite!

With Hanukkah right around the corner, we’re hosting a festive Camp Chi 2nd Night 2nd Light event on November 29th at Bernard Weinger JCC (Northbrook) from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Join us to celebrate the Festival of Lights with all your camp friends! We’ll have a special candle lighting ceremony, plus yummy treats, and steamy hot cocoa to warm us all up. The event is free, but we ask that you RSVP in advance.

We’ll also be joining the rest of JCC Chicago at the 8th Night 8th Light event on December 5th at Gallagher Way outside Wrigley Field from 3:00pm-6:00pm. We know Camp Chi will be well represented at the event, which includes candle lighting, ice skating, and DJ entertainment. You can see more details on the celebration of the last night of Hanukkah here.

Both of these events are the perfect way to meet up with your camp friends while celebrating the fun-filled holiday of Hanukkah! Better yet, both events are a great time to drop off presents for our Camp Chi Toy Drive Benefitting TOYs for TOTs! Make sure to grab your friends and your dreidels, and we can’t wait to see you there!
