Chi Does Good: Sunrise Day Camp Chicago
Hopefully you’ve already heard the wonderful news about the brand-new Sunrise Day Camp Chicago. In case you haven’t, Sunrise Day Camp Chicago is a new camp for children with a cancer diagnosis and for their siblings too, that JCC Chicago is bringing to Lake County JCC in Lake Zurich for summer 2023. It’s an incredible opportunity for these children to get outside, feel the sunshine, and have a fun-filled summer. Most amazing of all, Sunrise Day Camp is 100% free for those attending!
In support of Sunrise Day Camp Chicago, JCC Chicago is hosting SunriseWALKS: A Community Fundraising Walk. The event takes place Sunday, October 30th at the Lake County JCC where people of all ages can walk the grounds, raise money for this great cause, and have a camp activity filled day!
The Camp Chi Team will be out in full swing for SunriseWALKS, and we invite everyone in the Camp Chi Family to come out and support a worthy cause! In case you can’t make it to the event, you can still show your support for Sunrise Day Camp Chicago by donating. The Camp Chi Team has our own fundraising page, where you can help support Sunrise Day Camp Chicago.
