June 2022 News from the Camp Chi Family
It’s June, so the main thing on our minds is that camp starts this month! As we get underway with our Supervisor and Staff Training Weeks, and families back home begin packing their bags for the summer, the rest of the Camp Chi Family is staying busy! We have a ton of great news this month, so for our last update before we go into full summer mode, here’s the June News from the Chi Family!
Have exciting updates or things to celebrate, share it with us so we celebrate you in the Fall!
As the school year wraps up, there’s so much great news to share. Ross Hochwert has a lot to be proud of as he graduated from Pennsylvania University’s Wharton MBA Class, and finished his Master’s from Penn Engineering. Ross was also a Palmer Scholar, meaning he was in the top 5% at Wharton.
Lexie Dockman was a longtime counselor at Chi, and now not only do we call her a master counselor- you should too as she graduated with a Master’s in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
In the time away from school, Lindsay Weisskopf will be a Business Development Intern at MOGL this summer, and Liza Bluman will be Marketing Intern with Kahena all the way in Jerusalem. Speaking of Israel, Jarret Fersten, Joe Preston, Max Sedley, Jeremy Sawyer & Daniel Mesirow are all participating in Onward Israel this summer. Congrats on the positions everyone!
We’ve heard amazing things about so many of our campers taking their stand on the Bimah. Join us in a big Mazel Tov to Levi Agulnek, Sami Abrams, and Josie Singer on their recent bnai mitvot.
Andy Edmonds recently got a driving permit. Keep an eye out on the roads!
Carli Kantor, currently at camp for Supervisory Training Week, recently got a full-time job as a school Art Teacher. Great going, Carli!
June has been a wonderful month for love for the Camp Chi Family. Karen Klass & Andrew Frankenthal got married. There have also been many engagements this month including Abby Brown & Jake Sternberg, Jacob Lorig & Deirdre O’Donoghue, and Max Shapiro & Tehilla Basya Adler. Congrats to all the happy couples.
We won’t be sharing more News from the Camp Chi Family until the fall, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear what’s going on with all of you.
