Luggage Drop Off Details

Wow! Suddenly it’s almost May and camp is literally right around the corner. There is a lot to do to get ready to camp- buy everything, label everything, pack everything, and so much more. But that stress ends when the bags are dropped off and sent up to camp.

We know our Chicagoland Camp Chi family is spread out, so we worked with Camp Laundry & Baggage to select luggage locations throughout the city and suburbs. Our luggage drop sites will be available June 13 & 14 (First Session) and July 10 & 11 (Second Session) from 4pm-7:30pm at the following sites:

• Skokie/Northshore (Old Orchard Woods Parking Lot, 9911 Woods Dr, Skokie. Located 1 block west of the Old Orchard exit on 94)
• Northbrook (Lake Cook Plaza Parking Log, 497 Lake Cook Road, Northbrook. In the Lake Cook Plaza located on Lake Cook, west of Waukegan, just west of Barking Lot building)
• Buffalo Grove (the former Dominick’s parking lot on the North East corner of Lake Cook and Arlington Heights Road)
• Chicago (Hu-Friedy Manufacturing, 3232 N. Rockwell, Chicago 60618.Located just west of the intersection of Belmont and Western.  From the North/Belmont:  Take Campbell north to stop sign, take left at Rockwell which goes west and then turns south at the property.  Look for the Penske Truck.)

When you drop off your bags, staff from Camp Laundry & Baggage will help load it into their truck. All you have to do is have the bags ready, make sure your camp provided luggage tag is on the bag, and provide your name.

Campers coming from outside of Chicago should bring their bags to their bus site.

Please Note:- PNW, Mini Session 1 & Try Chi luggage come up WITH campers on the bus.
