Meet Our Food Service Team

By Camp Chi
Camp

There used to be the  stereotype that summer camp food was kind of … meh.  We can confidently say that those days are long gone at Camp Chi. Since we first partnered with WOLFoods seven years ago, the Camp Chi Kitchen has been serving delicious and nutritious food that all of camp can enjoy. And none of this great food could be possible without the hard work from our Food Service Team, who we’d like to introduce to the Camp Chi Family!

Heading up the team are our Food Service Directors Vince Franz and Joseph Chrzanowski. This marks Vince’s fourth year with Camp Chi, serving as our Food Service Manager at the Perlstein Retreat Center during the non-summer months. This is Joseph’s first year at Chi, and we can’t wait for all the great things he’s going to make!

We have two Assistant Kitchen Managers this year as well. Tim Neiderklopfer, our Head Cook at the Perlstein Retreat Center, and Nathan Alley, who is back for his second year at Camp Chi. Holly Luisi is also back as the sweetest baker in the whole summer camp industry! And her sweets are pretty darn good too!

Those who have allergies or any dietary restrictions will become close to, Arlette, who is taking on the mantle of Special Diets Chef,  ensuring that everyone is getting a delicious and safe meal. And rounding off the Food Service team is our Front of House & Service Manager Bryan Ortega Almaraz, here for his first summer!

Joining the professional staff is an incredible group of 25+ Support Staff from all over the world, who will be working around the clock to make sure all of camp has full bellies. We’re already grateful for all the hard work and dedication this team is going to put in this summer, and we can’t wait for all the delicious meals we’re going to enjoy!
