November News from the Chi Family!
It has only been a few weeks since our last news and we have so much to share. From reunions to weddings to colleges and more, we are overwhelmed with pride in the Camp Chi Family. So let’s check out the November Chi News.
Mike Majewski keeps wowing us! He and the 5th Grade Math Team from Beaubien Elementary placed 3rd for Division A Schools.
Congrats are in order for Arielle Pazol and Sarah Patton, as the both were accepted to college for next year. Arielle will be heading to the University of Toledo, while Sarah is heading to Illinoi State University next fall.
Post college plans are coming along well for Rachel Gold and Sonia Fantz and both have big plans ahead. Rachel was accepted to Georgetown University’s Law School and Sonia is heading to Hawaii with Teach for America to teach secondary science.
We are so proud of Casey Rategan. Casey and his hockey team, the Falcons, came in second in the Big Bear Tournament.
From SIT Staff to Sigma Delta Tau’s next Executive Board as Vice President of New Member Education, Vicki Zilbergleyt is doing it all. Congrats on the new position Vicki!
The AEPi and Chi connection continues, as Scott Harris officially joined Alpha Epsilon Pi chapter at Kansas.
From the ballroom to the diving board, Mark Lozovnoy just has natural talent. And he showed it off as he came in 1st place at his diving club meet. Nice going Mark!
Wedding bells were heard at Chi all the way from across the pond as James and Natalie Royston tied the knot. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love.
The reviews are in and we’ve only heard great things about Shaya Harris in Godspell with Another Door Theatre Project and Max and Benny Liber in Hello, Dolly! At Vernon Hills High School.
Logan Friedman and her soccer team won the 2018 SLSG Fall Classic U16 championship. Way to go Logan!
Over in New Jersey, Jacob Harnisher recently got his driver’s license. Congrats Jacob- drive safely!
It’s been a mitzvah after mitzvah recently and we couldn’t be prouder. Mazel tov to Tyler Rosenthal, Abbie Lewis, Shayna Finkel, Jesse Lofman, Charlotte Peterson, Ariana Silverstein, Julia Kalish and Mira Rosenblum on their recent b’nai mitzvot. We hear you all did beautifully on the bimah.
As shown in the photo above, Paul Zander, Caleb Marcus, Sulie Karo Hart and Michael Rosenberg and other CITs of 1968 had their own 50th reunion, complete with their own mini Chi Burning. Way to keep the flame burning! Thanks for the photo!
