And then there was one: 2019 Final Four Frenzy

And then there was one…
After the wild weekend of game play last weekend, we have our Final Four teams: Michigan State Spartans, Virginia Cavaliers, Auburn Tigers, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
In keeping with tradition no one was able to correctly predict the correct Final Four. In fact, once Auburn eliminated North Carolina and Kentucky, there was no chance of a perfect four, as no one listed Auburn in their predictions. To follow up on that upset, the next day Michigan State outlasted Duke to advance. Duke was listed on 88% of our predictions, by far the most popular pick, which devastated this year’s entries. In fact, not only did no one pick the final four, no one even got 3 of the teams correct.
Only one person was able to pick half of the Final Four Teams, so let’s all congratulate Zach Sandler for predicting Michigan State and Virginia would make it this far. While Zach was the only person to have 2 teams left, only 14 people even had 1 team left, showing that March Madness is indeed sheer madness. So now we can congratulate Zach and eagerly await one last weekend of exciting NCAA play to see which team will be crowned the 2019 NCAA Champions. Happy hooping and stay tuned to Winkle’s Blog for more contests, fun, and camp happenings.
