Practice Camping at the PNW Bootcamp
PNW is right around the corner and we want do everything we can to help campers prepare. So we are happy to announce our 2018 PNW Bootcamp!
This year PNW Bootcamp runs from May 5th and 4:00pm, overnight to May 6th at 10:00am. We will be camping outside at the Elaine Frank Apachi Day Camp in Lake Zurich. This is a chance for campers to try out all of the PNW gear before they head out on their adventures, get a little taste of what PNW will be like and meet campers that will be going on PNW that they may have never met before- don’t forget PNW is a mix of first and second session campers.
Throughout the boot camp campers will cook their own meals, practice setting up and spending the night in the tents that they will be using this summer and participate in a series of games and activities that will help them prepare for the summer!
This event will also be staffed by Camp Chi staff with PNW experience who will be able to questions that the campers may have. If you are going on PNW this summer, this will be an amazing first step to learn all about the program!
The program costs $45 which include all activities, two meals, snacks, tents and more!
