SIT 2020 Hand Symbol

Hello Camp Chi!

As you know, SIT Summer 2020 is in full swing and they have recently accomplished some amazing milestones, but one in particular that we wanted to share with the broader camp community! Last week the SIT’s of 2020 unanimously decided on their SIT hand symbol! The SIT hand symbol has become tradition for recent SIT classes. Each year they create a unifying symbol that has special meaning to their summer, while also giving them a unique way to show off their SIT class. This year the hand symbol that the 20’s created is:

This symbol has a variety of meanings for the SIT class. Each hand created a 2 and a 0 to represent that they are the SIT’s of 2020. The two connecting loops form an infinity symbol which represents the fact that they will now be a part of the SIT family forever! Finally, the symbol is worn as glasses which represent that they are looking forward to the future when they can be back in camp as a group!

We are so proud of all of the 2020’s, and look forward to seeing their plaque, jersey, play and everything else that they will create as they enter second session of their SIT summer!
