Registration & Fees
For your convenience, JCC Chicago (JCC) accepts cash, checks, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and electronic bank draft. Registrations are not complete until program fees or deposits are made. Prior to processing registration for any JCC activity, accounts are reviewed for outstanding balances. Registration cannot be processed until past-due balances are reconciled. For anyone choosing to pay for programming by credit card, a 3% non-refundable convenience charge will be applied.
All camp fees must be paid in full by April 15.
Families registering online have three payment options:
A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.
Prior to April 15, camp fees are refundable minus the $500 deposit as explained above. Cancellations that occur after April 15, will be assessed half of the camp fee. Once a program begins, no refunds will be granted for cancellations.
For Full summer or multiple sessions, if either session is cancelled $500 of the deposit is non-refundable.
Credit card surcharge fee of 3% is non-refundable.
Families applying for fee assistance provide a deposit of $150 at the time of registration. Within 10 days of your fee assistance determination, if sufficient fee assistance is not awarded, the deposit is refundable less a $25 processing fee should you choose to cancel. Once the financial assistance process has concluded, standard camp policies are in effect. For the complete outline of the financial assistance process and deadlines, click here.
After registering, any changes to sessions enrolled that result in decreasing the length of time at camp will be assessed a $25 processing fee. Adding additional sessions after registration or extending length of stay will not incur this fee.
A $1,000 deposit is due at the time of registration. $500 of this deposit is refundable until February 1. After February 1, the $1000 deposit is not refundable.
Cancellation of Session I Noar of a PNW/Session I Noar
The $1000 deposit is treated as two separate $500 deposits for Session I Noar and for PNW. If you cancel the PNW session, please see the cancellation of PNW section below. If you cancel one the Session I session, here are the cancellation and refund policies:
Cancellation of PNW
If you choose to switch your enrollment to a different Camp Chi session or program after registering for PNW*, a change fee will be assessed on all session switches according to the following schedule:
September–January 15
$25 change fee
January 16–February 14
$500 change fee
February 15–April 15
$750 change fee
After April 15
No refunds/credits will be given
*Cancelling part of IB+PNW is not a session switch, but a cancellation of a session unless switching to Full Summer at Chi.
Payment in full is due at the time of registration and is fully refundable until June 1. After June 1, Try Chi fees are not refundable.
Any refunds will be refunded in the same method paid (i.e. check, credit card, etc.).
All returned checks, bank drafts and credit cards will incur a $20 fee assessed on your account.
If you are awaiting a refund, please do not dispute the charge with your card holder. Payments that are disputed in error will incur a $50 fee assessed on your account.
Any credits on an account are non-transferrable.
Remaining balance in your child’s canteen account will be refunded to you after the end of the camp season. If less than $10 remains in an account, the money will be automatically donated to the Camp Chi’s scholarship fund.

For each child enrolled in JCC Chicago Resident/Overnight Camp programming, the parent (or legal guardian) must provide a current immunization record appropriate for the child’s age and a health form signed by the child’s physician or health department representative prior to the first day of the program. If the physical condition of the child is such that any one or more of the immunizing agents should not be administered, the examining physician (DO, MD), advanced practice nurse, or physician assistant responsible for the performance of the health examination shall endorse that fact upon the health examination form.
