October 2023 News from the Chi Family
While we were away at camp, so many of you had major life updates and milestones! We love hearing from you no matter how small or big your news is, please share it with us! Youth group elections, college acceptance, sports team championships, B’nai mitzvah celebrations, are all great news to share with us! You can email Sam, and let her know what updates you have! Mazel tov to the Elekman Family on two updates! Shayna Elekman (SIT of ‘09), pictured above, got married to Arnie Weil in May 2023. They live happily in Longmont, Colorado with their two dogs.
Jamie Elekman (SIT of ’11) is getting married to Ethan Guthman in November 2023. They live happily in the West Loop of Chicago.
Jackie Rubin (SIT ‘05) and Joey Cohen (SIT ‘06) got engaged on April 29th and are getting married February 24, 2024 in Chicago. We love these engagement pictures with your SIT Jersies!
Jacob (SIT ‘04) and Nikki Cohen (both Chi alums) got married June 24th in Chicago. Mazel Tov!
Mazel Tov to Ryan Graham (SIT ‘05) and Susan Bender who got married in July this summer! There were many Camp Chi alumni at the wedding, not only in attendance but also standing up in the wedding, Including our own Assistant Director, Sam Isenstein & family as Ryan is Sam’s cousin!
Rachel Gold (SIT 2012) started a new job as a Staff Attorney at Children’s Law Center. Specifically serving as a Guardian ad litem for kids in the Washington DC area. Congrats on this new role! We know how much of a difference you will make in these children’s lives!
