A Helping Hand for Hayley
Over the last year, we have all been stuck inside watching the world grapple with the Coronavirus pandemic. As the pandemic worsened, and the lock down continued on, we were all left wondering what can to do help. One 7-year-old Apachi camper, Hayley, decided she was going to turn her hobby into action. Hayley decided to sell Rainbow Loom bracelets and donate the money from the purchases to Lurie Children’s Hospital.
The bracelets have really taken off, being featured on the news both near and far, and orders have come pouring in from all over the country, including even celebrities. So far, Hayley has raised over $40,000 to support Lurie Children’s Hospital. Now there is so much demand that Hayley can no longer single-handedly keep up with it and needs our help to produce these single-stitch Rainbow Loom bracelets. As we have seen many times over the last year, the Camp Chi community knows how to step up when called on to do some good. So let’s do it!
Don’t have the supplies? Don’t know how to make a loom bracelet? Don’t worry! We can help teach you and get you all needed supplies. Anyone, camper or staff, alumni or parent, who is interested in helping make bracelets in their spare time can simply fill out the form below to provide us with more information and we’ll be in touch with you.
