Congratulations Simon Blaustein!

Simon Blaustein is the 1^st Place Winner, high school category, in the JCC Chicago Jewish Film Festival Student Filmmaker Competition for his film, Children of the Holocaust. This is the third year of this competition, and Simon is about to enjoy his seventh year at Chi and his SIT summer. Seven student filmmaker finalists were selected from Northwestern, DePaul, Columbia College, New Trier and Deerfield H.S and judged by industry leaders from LA and Chicago.

The winning three films, including Simon’s Children of the Holocaust, will be shown at a special screening on Sat., March 9, 1:00pm at the Cinemark Theater in Evanston. Tickets are free and available at the box office. See you there!
