We’ve spent an incredible week with our 2022 Supervisors during Supervisory Training Week. As the rest of the staff start arriving in camp, we wanted to share this group of dedicated leaders with the rest of the Camp Chi Family!

Village Leaders

Ely London is back for her 12th summer at Camp Chi, and is going to be the Shoreshim Village Leader this summer.

Tsofim:

Carli Kanter, back for her 13th summer at Camp Chi, will be the Tsofim Village Leader.

Chalutzim:

Katie Kramer and Anna Ramirez are our Chalutzim Village Leaders. This is both Katie and Anna’s 12 summer at Camp Chi, meaning they have 24 years of Camp Chi Magic under their belts!

Habonim:

Maya Parks is back for her 13th summer, and Matt Sturt for his 9th, as our Habo Village Leaders this year.

Noar:

Jared “J-Lo” London, continues to lead Noar, while also serving as Camp Chi’s Program Coordinator and is stocked to stargaze for his 16th summer at Camp Chi!

Mini Sessions:

Sue Klein is making the return back to Camp Chi, heading up our Mini Sessions as the Village Leader. Katie Stein joins Sue for her 11th summer as a Village Leader for Mini Session 1, and will be joining a 4-week village in Second Session.

Second Session:

Blake Finkel is here for his whopping 20th summer, and 3rd on staff, heading up one of our Second Session villages as a Village Leader. Abbey Levine, is excited to join Chi as a supervisor during session 2 as well. And Liran Kremnitzer, is making the journey from Israel once more to lend his support to the village leaders during Session 2.

The Outpost Village/PNW:

Mark Urban has made the journey over the pond for his first summer at Camp Chi. From England, Mark will be heading up The Outpost Village and the PNW Trip.

K’Far K’Tan:

Izzy Becker-Bogan is back at camp for her 13th summer, this time as the Supervisor for the “little village,” the program for the children of staff members who are too young to participate in a cabin.

Keshet Supervisors:

Jessica Rubinstein will be at camp for her second summer as Keshet’s Site Director of the Inclusion Program. Ricky Ross is back at Chi this year as the Avodah Director.

Community Care:

Carrie Ross is back as our Community Care Supervisor and will be working with Nicole Hults, who is making her return for her 14th year at Camp Chi, this time as our Community Care Coordinator, joining Polly Cheeseman, longtime Camper Care Coordinator. We are lucky to have Rachel Temkin, Dave Temkin, Ellen Schein, and Melissa Zabel rounding out the team as our summer social workers.
