Meet the 2025 SIT Staff!

By Camp Chi
Camp

The countdown to Summer 2025 is ON — and we are beyond excited to introduce the amazing staff who will be leading our SITs (Staff in Training) this year!

The SIT summer is truly a transformational experience, and this year’s team brings passion, experience, and a whole lot of Camp Chi spirit. Let’s meet the crew who will be guiding, supporting, and cheering on our incredible SITs:

Meet Your SIT Director: AJ Teplinsky

Hi Camp Chi! I’m so excited to be spending my 17th summer up at camp and my 9th year on staff — and even more excited to be returning for my second summer as SIT Director! I was a SIT myself back in 2013, and I feel so lucky to now be

part of this incredible program that means so much to camp.

What I’m most excited about:
I can’t wait to see what the SITs of 2025 will accomplish. The SITs are truly the heart and soul of camp, and this year’s group is going to do amazing things. It’s their time — and I’m honored to support them every step of the way.

Favorite Song Session Songs:
If I Had a Hammer and Father and Son — every time!

Fun Fact:
I was a camper back when the canteen sold Reese’s! These days, you’ll catch me ordering a cold Milky Way and a Strawberry-Blue Raspberry Slush Puppy with Shocker. A classic.

Meet Fabio!

This will be Fabio’s 10th summer at Camp Chi, and he’s joining us from Vernon Hills, IL!

He’s especially excited for the SIT Play and all the memories that come with it.
Favorite song session song? Return to Pooh Corner — a true classic.

Meet Oliver!

Coming to us all the way from San Francisco, this is Oliver’s 7th year at camp!

He’s most excited for all the little moments this SIT class will share — together all day, every day.  “This summer is going to be unreal, so get ready.”

Favorite song session songs? A tie between Return to Pooh Corner and The General.

Meet Chloe!

Hailing from Chicago, Chloe is back for her 12th summer at Camp Chi!

She’s SO excited to get to know all the incredible SITs and be part of the best summer ever — especially when it comes to Song Session and the SIT Play!

Favorite song session songs? Oh What a Life & American Pie — certified sing-along bangers.

Meet Hadli!

Also from Chicago, this will be Hadli’s 11th summer at camp!

She’s most looking forward to the SIT Play and SIT Shabbat — two of the biggest and most meaningful moments of the summer.

Song Session favorites? Pharaoh Pharaoh (fast) and Fire and Rain (slow) — the perfect combo.

Meet Alexa!

From Highland Park, IL, this will be Alexa’s 11th summer at Camp Chi!

She’s super excited to stargaze with the SITs and make tons of silly, unforgettable memories.

Favorite song session songs? She grew up loving Father and Son, but now as a staff member, she’s a big fan of Piano Man!

Meet Teddy!

Coming from Arlington Heights, this is also Teddy’s 11th summer at camp!

️ He’s most looking forward to the magic of Shabbat at Chi.

Favorite song session song? Bad, Bad Leroy Brown — a total classic.

With this incredible team leading the way, the SITs of 2025 are in for a summer full of growth, leadership, connection, and memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to watch this amazing group shine all summer long!
