Outpost Village & Gearheads Events
At Camp Chi and at The Outpost Village, we embrace the idea that you can be your true self, and there’s nowhere better to bring that out than nature. Whether from the peaceful contemplation of peering out over a still lake, or by pushing oneself to climb a previously unreachable peak, we can all learn new things about ourselves at camp. Being in nature allows us to develop a healthy, well-rounded sense-of-self through both quiet reflection and by overcoming obstacles, both of which are ever present in the wilderness.
Kehilah, or Community, is one of our core values at camp, and the outdoors are no different. The outdoors are filled with a beautiful community of people, all free to be their natural selves. We love the outdoor community here at the Outpost Village, and love partnering up with our outdoor friends. So, we’re excited to announce some upcoming events that we’re running with our friends from Gearhead Outfitters, formerly Uncle Dan’s.

Each afternoon will be full of fun, exploration, and community building. We’ll be at each of their Chicagoland locations over the coming weeks, meeting others in the outdoor community, spreading the word about The Outpost Village, and saying hello to the Camp Chi Family. Plus, we’ll be running activities, making awesome giveaways, and even raffling off some super cool items from Gearheads!
