Sing & S’more With Camp Chi!

Sitting on a small wooden bench, you take a moment to listen to the warm conversations around you, reminiscing on shared memories. Soft songs pour out of a guitar, and a few kids are searching the ground for the perfect stick. The gentle flames in front of you lunge and spin in all direction, and you can feel their warmth reach out as you forget the cool night air on your back. This – this is a campfire.
Both current campers and alumni have experienced this scene countless times at camp throughout the years. There’s arguably nothing more “campy” than a campfire. As the seasons spin around again and the weather cools, there’s no better time for one last bonfire for our Centennial Year. But not only are we celebrating 100 years of Camp Chi, we are also celebrating 118 years of JCC Chicago!
There is no better way to kickoff a celebration than with a camp bonfire! Chi families and alumni are invited to join us at 7:30pm on Saturday, October 23rd at Bernard Weinger JCC in Northbrook for havdalah, s’mores, and a song session, all while reconnecting with your camp friends!
Whether you were at camp this summer or haven’t been back in years, come join us for the magic of one more campfire. Reconnect with old friends, make a s’more or two, and experience the warmth of a campfire and all that comes with it.
Just RSVP here so we can save you a spot!
