Splish, Splash, Set, Spike – Cove 2018 Changes

At Camp we have over 50 activities our campers can choose from, and all are popular. Pop culture and current events help dictate which specialties are most popular (The Hunger Games series gave archery a huge boost), but one area remains a constant popular spot, no matter what – the Cove! Our campers clearly love to swim, boat, jump and splash in Lake Blass, and we decided to make some upgrades this year.

We are hit with a wave of excitement when we think about the new boats we have for the Cove this summer. We have 10 Corcls, which are kayaks shaped likes circles, 16 new kayaks and 4 new sailboats. Perhaps the biggest addition to our cove will be the brand new 30-foot inflatable volleyball court. Now we can play in the water and on the beach! Maybe we’ll start a new SIT vs. Staff game tradition…

We are always excited to make improvements to our camp, but this one is extra exciting to us. We can’t wait for everything to get in the water, so we can try it all out!  Stay tuned for more announcements as we gear up for camp.
