Welcome Aboard Ron!

The Camp Chi Family just keeps on growing! Last month, we introduced everyone to Lexie Kaye, our new Community Care Coordinator. Today, we’re thrilled to introduce everyone to Ron Stern, our new Operations Coordinator! Ron is the newest addition to our expanded Full-Time Team and began working in the office this week. Ron arrived on Monday, hit the ground running and has jumped right into all the behind-the-scenes action at Camp Chi.

Born and raised in Northbrook, Ron gained his degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas. Having spent most of his career behind the scenes in professional sports, Ron is hopping over to join us in the world of summer camps. Although Camp Chi may not be a professional soccer or baseball team, Ron knows all about handling the various aspects of a busy organization like Chi. As our Operations Coordinator, Ron will be taking over managing registrations and payments, so don’t be surprised if you hear his voice over the phone instead of Natalie, as she is focusing on other aspects of the operations now.

An avid fan of travel, Ron has been to 12 countries and 37 states. Ron is a huge White Sox fan, splitting our team’s baseball allegiance. Besides the Sox, Ron cheers for the rest of the Chicago teams along with Manchester United FC. He and his wife have a son, and Ron loves spending his time attending all his son’s sporting events.
