What’s New and Exciting for Summer 2024

Over the past few months we have talked a lot about all of the incredible additions coming to camp in the next few years! What is especially exciting now is that some of these projects are currently under construction and will be ready when campers arrive this summer!

First off, at the cove the new inflatables have arrived, the anchors have been built, and we cannot wait for everyone to see our new lake front! Not only are there new inflatables, but also a brand-new fleet of sailboats. These sailboats will fit 4-5 campers each and will allow any campers that want to learn to sail an opportunity to do so.

Next, we have the new and improved NAF, or New Athletic Field. This will now be home to the Camp Chi golf program. This will consist of 9 holes of mini golf, a short game green, and a driving green with multiple different length hitting mats. Not only this, but we have built a new storage shed and club house that campers can use! Finally, to help make the NAF fully up to par, we have brought lights and water to the field!

Finally, our Commons will have a new look to it. On the Commons black top we are currently building a 80 by 40 foot covered pavilion that will have lights and built in speakers. Under the pavilion will be a variety of portable seating options that can be moved away when needed for programming. We have also added all new archery equipment, a brand-new Gaga pit, and a fire circle to the commons area.
