Winter Camp: Summer Fun with a Winter Twist

Some tell tale signs of summer approaching are usually the temperatures rising and the days getting longer. But now the temperatures are dropping and it starts getting dark before most of our campers get home from school, but have no fear, camp is still quickly approaching. That’s right we’re running our Winter Camp this winter break December 26th through the 29th! But don’t worry just because it’s cold out doesn’t mean we can’t do all the things we love from the summer.
Sleepover with your friends
Although it’s a little too cold to sleep in the cabins during the winter, campers will still have the opportunity to bunk with their friends. We’ll be staying across the bridge at the Perlstein Retreat Center. Each room is heated and has its own private restroom, and we’ll eat meals with a beautiful view of frozen Lake Blass. If you’re lucky you might even see someone ice fishing!
Activities
One of the best parts of camp is all the exciting activities we offer on a daily basis and Winter Camp will be no different. We will be offer a variety of activities including cooking, arts and crafts, sports, nature walks and more! So if you’ve been at home craving a camp banana boat, we’ve got you covered!
Water Park Day!
It’s been a few years since we’ve been able to hold water park day at camp, but its coming back this winter! Yep, that’s right were going swimming in the winter! We’re spending one of our afternoons during Winter Camp at Mt. Olympus (INDOOR) water and theme park. Because just like all the campers we’ve missed water park day too!
