Chi Town Connection is Back!

What is Chi Town Connection?
Chi Town Connection, CTC for short is Camp Chi’s year-round teen program open to all teens in 8th-11th grade! Our goal is to keep teens connected and engaged to the Camp and Jewish community all year long! We will be doing that with incredible programming and philanthropy efforts. Given the current climate, our programming will mainly live virtually, with events such as Live Euchre Tournaments, Camp Friend Hangouts, Charity Work, and more! When safe to do so, we cannot wait to provide in person events in the Chicago-Land area and teen retreats up at camp! We currently have a 15 person Leadership Board made up of incredible Camp Chi teens who are so excited to bring CTC to life! From that leadership board, we held our very fist elections and are so thrilled to introduce the first ever CTC Executive Board!
For more information or to get involved feel free to contact J-Lo at jlondon@jccchicago.org or email CTC at chitownconnection1921@gmail.com. Follow us on Instagram and stay tuned for our upcoming CTC Blog Posts that will live right here on Winkle’s Blog!
Meet our New Executive Board!

Ever since Shoreshim, she has had a strong passion for camp and has been active in the Chi community. As president, Alexa is now excited to help take ownership of CTC and help bring it to life. She cannot wait to be a leader and help campers stay connected to camp all year long, especially during this difficult time. She loves camp more than anything and is excited to bring her love to all the meetings, events and activities. Her favorite nights of the year are Shabbats at Camp Chi, and she cannot wait to be with everyone in 2021 to celebrate Friday nights once again.
