Meet the 2022 SIT Staff

SITs of 2022! It’s time to meet your SIT Staff! We’ve already introduced our new SIT Director, but let’s see which other staff are going to bring SIT Summer to life this year. We are so excited about this group of dedicated, creative, and crazy counselors, and we know the SITs are eager to meet them. So, let’s meet the counselors for this year’s Staff In Training.
Lucas Absler
The one and only Lucas Absler is back for summer number 10! Lucas can’t wait to experience SIT Summer, and is ready for everything to be running at 100% (or maybe 101%?). Lucas has tons of fond memories from throughout his years at camp including mastering archery and painting one of the bathhouse walls for his Habo Day – you’ll have to guess which one though! Lucas loves hanging out with friends and family outside of camp, but can’t wait to be back with the rest of the Camp Chi Family this summer!
Ally Berkowitz
Back for her 10th summer, Ally Berkowitz cannot wait to be SIT Staff! Ally is bringing her love of dancing and chanting (5, 6, 7, 8!) to an already spirited SIT Staff. A student at Miami University, Ally is studying psychology, marketing and fashion corporate business, and can’t wait to bring her wide-ranging skills and knowledge to the SITs 2022. This summer, if she’s not hanging with the SITs, you could probably find Ally at the waterski docks or leading a group in dance.
Adam Gadiel
Adam Gadiel is back for his 10th summer at Camp Chi, and can’t wait for it to start. A self-proclaimed and self-proven Ultimate Frisbee extraordinaire, Adam is ready for anything this summer throws at him. At camp, you can usually find Adam somewhere near the Cove (where he was also a specialist last summer), sailing around good ol’ Lake Blass. Adam studies education at Knox College when not at camp, and can’t wait to pass on his knowledge of all things Camp Chi to the SITs 2022.
Kimber Holman
Kimber Holman is ready for SIT Summer to start NOW, her 10th summer at Chi! Kimber has tons of experience being a staff member at Camp Chi, having been a counselor and a specialist, and can’t wait to pass on her experiences to the SITs 2022. A student at the Ohio State University , Kimber is counting down the days until she is back in the 53940, hanging with the SITs, and maybe showing off here-and-there at the ropes courses.
Shayna Holman
Back at it again, it’s Shayna Holman! 2022 marks Shayna’s 11th summer at Camp Chi, and she can’t wait for it to start. Besides celebrating their NCAA National Championship, Shayna is studying Social Work at the University of Kansas. While she may be hoarse from cheering on the Jayhawks, she is ready to be chanting “S-I-T” when summe arrives. A lover of outdoor cooking, and a conqueror of both ropes courses, Shayna is ready for anything SIT Summer throws at her!
Becca Kamensky
Becca Kamensky can’t wait for another round of SIT Summer! Returning for her 11th summer, Becca is bringing years of experience with her. Having been everything from a counselor to a ropes specialist, Becca is is ready to bring all her knowledge and expertience together and share it with the next group of leaders. When not at camp, Becca is a student at Indiana University. She loves spending time with her friends at school, and can’t wait to make tons more this summer with the SITS of 2022!
Andy Siegel
Andy Siegel is beyond excited for his 9th summer at Camp Chi! A fun and spirited person, Andy is counting down the days until he can hangout with all his friends at camp, and make tons of new ones in the SITS of 2022. Although Andy is always one of the most spirited people at Song Session, his biggest accomplishment at camp is beating George Thombs in water basketball (which J-LO might have something to say about this summer). When not at camp, Andy studies at Indiana University, but can’t wait to be back in Wisconsin this summer!
