October News from the Camp Chi Family
The leaves are changing and fall is in the air. While the days are getting shorter, there is no shortage of reasons to celebrate the Camp Chi Family! With new babies, future weddings, exciting career steps, and so much more, we hope you join us in a collective Mazel Tov! As always, if you have news to contribute, please submit it here.
We have our first college decision as Ellie Weinberg will be headed to the University of Iowa next fall. Best of luck Ellie!
We are so proud of Noah Pollack and Jacob Sloan on their recent b’nai mitzvot! Mazel tov to both of you!
Alex Arbit recently began a new job as a Teaching Assistant at Highland Park High School. Congrats Arbit!
You had better buckle up as Jessie Vozar recently got her driver’s license. Drive safely!
We are so happy to hear that Lindsay Dolan got engaged to Austin Crisp. Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness!
There are some future campers out there as Jamie Schneider Fintz and David Fintz welcomed Dylan Isaac, and (as featured in the photo above) Carrie Ross and Ricky Ross welcomed Peyton Haley. We love the photos and are thrilled everyone is happy and healthy.
Miles Evans (who was featured in the Simchat Torah & Election Day blog for his interview with League of Women of Voters Glen Ellyn about the importance of voting) has had a busy fall! Besides his interview, he also celebrated his 21st birthday (9/10/20) in a big way with a family Zoom toast, joint drive-by birthday parade with his friend Sarah, and an appearance on the Today Show Virtual Plaza. And he’s been busy as a campaign intern with his Congressman. Happy belated birthday Miles! Keep up your involvement in civics!
