Why Go to Winter Camp?

By Camp Chi

We obviously love summer- it is our favorite season in fact. But winter is a close second and the main reason why is WINTER CAMP! There are a lot of similarities between our summer and winter programs, but also some key differences. We love Winter Camp so much we wrote an acrostic poem with 10 reasons to sign up for the hottest program this winter.

Waterpark day- that’s right, we’ll visit a waterpark, but we’ll make sure it’s an indoor one this time of the year.
Ice Skating- not at the commons in the winter. We’ll take a trip to the local ice arena for an evening on the ice.
New & Old Friends- whether you are reconnecting with friends or making new ones, we have all the activities to help facilitate those friendships and keep them going all year long.
Tubing- in the summer we tube on the water, so in the winter we tube on SNOW! We’ll go to the local mountain so everyone can have the chance to go tubing.
Evening Programs- We’ll take a break from our regular activities each night to come together as a whole program for some all out FUN!
Resort-Style Accommodations- over the summer we live in cabins. But at Winter Camp, we live at Perlstein and take full advantage. Our hotel-style rooms have private bathrooms and plenty of space for everyone.

Celebrate Hanukkah- this year Winter Camp overlaps with the Miracle of Lights! So we’ll have candle lighting, latkes, dreidels and more in store for everyone.
Amazing Staff- we hire the best counselors and specialists to help campers have the best time, while ensuring the quality of care we are known for.
Making Memories- You can choose from sports to arts to cooking and more, and no matter what choice you make, along the way you’ll make memories that will stick with you for years to come.
Playing in the Snow- The big difference between camp in the summer and in the winter is the weather, so let’s take advantage of it. Snow forts, snow man building, snowballs and s(n)ow much more!
